Amber and Cody met online in January of 2020, and from the very first messages—and nonstop phone calls—they knew something special was unfolding. They planned to meet for drinks and an arcade date, but Amber couldn’t wait; she called Cody and asked him to meet her at the restaurant she was already at: Applebee’s, of course! The chemistry was instant, and they ended up talking until the restaurant closed. Their arcade date still happened afterward, where they shared their first kiss in a Luigi’s Mansion game stall. Over the next five years, they tackled adventures big and small—navigating COVID, adopting their orange cat Theodore, and building a life full of laughter and love. On December 28th, 2024, Cody proposed in the middle of the ice rink in downtown Detroit. They chose to elope in honor of their faith, but this July they can’t wait to say their vows again and celebrate with all their friends and family.

Amber met Jeena when she moved in next door at age 10. One of the very first things Jeena ever said to her was, “We’re going to be best friends forever”—and for the past 18 years, that’s exactly what they’ve been. From childhood adventures to life’s biggest milestones, Jeena has been a constant source of laughter, loyalty, and love. Amber couldn’t imagine her wedding day without the girl who has been by her side since day one.

Cassie and Amber became instant friends when they moved in together as roommates at Grand Valley University. After living side-by-side, Cassie knows Amber inside and out—and the two quickly became inseparable. They navigated young adult life together, with Cassie often being the voice of reason and keeping Amber out of trouble. Through every challenge and every celebration, Cassie has been a steady rock and a source of honest, loving advice. Amber is so grateful to have her by her side on this special day.

Sara and Amber have been friends since they were 10 years old, growing up side-by-side through every stage of life. From riding bikes around the neighborhood to getting their driver’s licenses, heading off to college, and now planning weddings, they’ve shared countless milestones together. Sara has a gift for lightening the mood and making every moment fun—there’s never a dull day when she’s around. Amber is so grateful for a friendship filled with laughter and unforgettable memories, and she’s honored to have Sara standing with her on this big day.

Amber and Briana survived high school together, and it all started in Spanish class when Amber knew they were destined to be best friends. They bonded over late-night sleepovers and sharing crushes on the same teacher, forming a friendship full of laughter and memories. Briana is the calm to Amber’s chaos—the perfect balance of opposites attracting—and together they’ve shared countless adventures, from trips up north to relaxing beach days. Amber is so grateful to have Briana standing with her as she celebrates this next chapter of her life.

Brittney, Amber’s brother’s girlfriend, was someone she met and instantly loved—and over time, she has truly become like a sister. Her positivity, kindness, and genuine care for Amber’s family have left a lasting mark, and she’s always full of warmth and laughter. Amber is so grateful to have Brittney by her side, sharing in the joy, love, and fun of this celebration.

Zachary, Amber’s brother, has been an important part of Cody’s life from the start. Cody loves his quick wit and sense of humor, and deeply respects the loyalty Zach shows to his friends and family. Cody admires Denny’s honesty, sarcastic sense of humor, and his incredible patience, perseverance, and desire to guide others. Having Denny by his side is a reminder of family, friendship, and a connection that has lasted a lifetime.

What started as a chance meeting while playing Old School RuneScape turned into a friendship built on nonstop laughs, quick wit, and the kind of banter that never gets old. No matter the distance, Zack has always been someone Cody can count on—whether it’s for a good laugh, honest advice, or just being there when it matters most.

His loyalty, humor, and genuine nature make him not only a great friend, but an unforgettable presence in Cody’s life. Having Zack be part of this special day means the world, and it wouldn’t feel complete without him.

Lynda is Amber’s cousin, but more like a sister—they’ve been inseparable since childhood. Growing up side by side, they built a lifetime of memories that they still love to laugh about today.
Lynda and Amber share a special bond filled with love, laughter, and a deep understanding of one another. Whether they’re reminiscing about the past or making new memories, time together always comes easy.
